The English version is from the American Standard Version of the Bible. The German is from the Luther 1912 Bibel.
The notes indicate the numbering may not match standard Bibles, because the verses are matched for the language. The publishers give a Website to reference for more information about how they compiled the Bibles. They also have Bibles available in French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish according to the Editorial Notes in the back of the Bible.
Note: I do not speak German, and I purchased this because I was studying it. So, I cannot vouch for the German other than stating it is from Luther's translation according to the editors.

The NT was a gift for a German speaking friend who was very grateful for it, so I assume she would highly rate it.
I enjoy reading it on my tablet. The format is changeable as in columns or verse paragraph.
Wish I had this 30 years ago when I was in Germany and Austria. Both languages there side by side helps in understanding while learning.
Excellent because it is verse by verse English and German. Easy to locate passages. Is helpful as I am studying to learn the German language.
Very nice and handy download. The layout is good; German English, one above the other the way it should be.
I can't offer an opinion on whether or not it's a good translation but I really like how the English and German verses are paired one above the other rather than side by side.
